Melanie joined Campbell & Bissell, PLLC in 2005 as a paralegal and office manager. Melanie became a paralegal in 2001 after graduating from Spokane Community College with an A.A.S. in Paralegal studies. She later returned to Whitworth University and obtained a Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude and a Master of Business Administration magna cum laude. She has developed extensive knowledge in the construction litigation arena while working for the firm. In 2006 Melanie became an adjunct professor at Spokane Community College in the Paralegal Program in 2006, and in 2015 she became the Legal Office Careers Program Coordinator. Melanie also serves on the Paralegal and Legal Office Careers Advisory Committees as well as the Spokane County Bar Association Registered Paralegal Committee. Melanie continues her legal education through various seminars and webcasts.
In her free time, Melanie enjoys traveling and time spent with family on their boat. She also enjoys gardening, fishing, and watching her youngest son play high school and Legion baseball. Melanie also enjoys time with her granddaughter.
